Today we bring you a show devoted to an in depth analysis of the Seattle Mariners early season woes. Daniel and Justin discuss who is doing better than expected, who isn't coming through in the clutch, and who needs to be gotten rid of to clear the way for the development of younger players. We also bring you the latest local high-school sports news!
We started off the Overtime Podcast this week by talking about the Grays Harbor Bearcat's disappointing loss to the Portland Monarchs on Saturday. We discuss the Bearcat's strengths (Jeffrey Gates and the offensive line, the defensive front seven) as well as the areas that need improvement (Red Zone execution, turnovers, allowing big plays on defense) and Justin even provides Daniel with some friendly advice!
We then moved on to discuss the controversy over whether or not Olympic Basketball players should be payed to play, what $25,000 toilet paper would be made of, the latest disturbance surrounding Mark Cuban (including a reenactment of the conversation between Cuban and Lamar Odom) and the news that Terry Francona will not be attending the festivities surrounding the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park.
